Step back in time and join “Lady Washington” for a cozy fireside tea as she shares memories of her and the General’s life as a young married couple, during the Revolutionary War, and at their beloved Mount Vernon.
Hear “Lady Washington” explain the art and social history of enjoying this refined beverage while being served a selection of fine teas and elegant light fare prepared by the Mount Vernon Inn. Following the program, guests are invited to a self-guided exploration of the estate and Mount Vernon’s beautiful decorative arts collections housed in the Donald W. Reynolds Museum and Education Center.
