Details: This exclusive, one-day painting workshop features watercolor instruction by renowned botanical artist Lara Call Gastinger, illustrator of the Flora of Virginia. Enjoy painting dried seed pods and nuts using a single, reddish-brown color, or sepia. Painting in one color is ideal for students new to watercolor and also for developing brush control. Paint is provided; supplies to bring are listed on the website. Register by January 14. 10 AM-4 PM, $100 meet at David M. Rubenstein Visitor Center in the Classroom 7 of the Carl and Hunter Smith Education Center.
