Details: Join us for lunch and compelling discussion with a member of our 2015-2016 class of fellows as he presents his findings and research at the Fred W. Smith National Library for the Study of George Washington.

On July 26, 2016 Library fellow David Head will discuss the results of his research topic, “George Washington, the Newburgh Conspiracy, and the Fate of the Continental Army.”

David Head is an assistant professor of history at the University of Central Florida, where he teaches courses on early America. His first book, Privateers of the Americas: Spanish American Privateering from the United States in the Early Republic, was published by the University of Georgia Press in October 2015. Dr. Head is the recipient of the Amanda and Greg Gregory Family Fellowship.
