Details: Join us for an evening commemorating Gouverneur Morris—the man who sat beside Alexander Hamilton, “…the man of whom of all others [Morris] loved most on earth,” during his final hours after the Hamilton-Burr Duel—and his extraordinary role in the American Revolution, in the drafting of the American Constitution, and in Paris as a diplomat during the French Revolution.

Richard Brookhiser is a senior editor at National Review and author of Gentleman Revolutionary: Gouverneur Morris, the Rake Who Wrote the Constitution. Dale Gregory (moderator) is vice president for public programs at the New-York Historical Society.
